
Jack Rutter
Jack is a Senior Mental Health Nurse with the NHS Northern Gambling Service. His first experience in the field of addiction was in 2006, initially as a volunteer with a non-statutory drug and alcohol service in Leeds. He was subsequently employed as a drug worker for the Leeds DIP (Drug Intervention Programme) team. He went on to complete his post graduate diploma in mental health nursing in Sheffield in 2011. Following a brief period of time working on acute mental health wards in Bansley, Jack returned to Leeds where he gained employment at the Leeds Addiction Unit, part of Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust specialist services. He has completed further training in a variety of addiction interventions, including Motivational Interviewing, Social Behaviour and Network Therapy; Cognitive Behavioural based interventions and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. He joined the NHS Northern Gambling Service in the summer of 2019 as the service was being set up.
